The Silver Lining
Journaling: I was totally humiliated in class when the teacher announced to everyone that I failed due to carelessness, our first assignment junior year, Michigan State University Interior Design. She asked to see me in her office to explain myself. Well, that didn't happen again. In fact, my final project for her class was so inventive that she submitted it to Interior Design Magazine (a magazine for the trade) and they published it August 1992, title of the article: "Student Work: A Portfolio of Universal Design Projects", which can still be found online.
